I understand Group Leaders are beginning to receive questions about the Feb 4th announcement. I want to
make sure we are all communicating the same message. Here is what you should say if you are asked by
operators in your group (reminder - do NOT speak to the press if you are contacted). At this time, we are
NOT making any type of floor announcement on this topic.

1. Bank of America has notified NY State that they are not interested in renewing the
current Personal Income Tax contract when it expires on 12/31/11.
2. Bank of America is expecting that DTP will request a "transition period" which would
continue into 2012.
3. NYC projects (B&E and Property Tax) are separate contracts and are not impacted.
4. We don't know what (if anything) will happen to the Kingston site once the PIT contract
is over.
5. At this time there is no other information available.
