CITY SERVICES INFORMATION:
FURLOUGH DAY /HOLIDAY CLOSURE
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, AND MONDAY FEBRUARY 21
City Hall and City business offices will be closed on Friday, February 18, 2011 for a furlough day and Monday, February
21, 2011 to honor the Presidents Day holiday.

Tucson Parks and Recreation administrative offices will be closed on Friday and Monday; however, the Reid Park Zoo
will be open both days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All Tucson City Golf courses will remain open Friday and Monday, but
Tucson City Golf Administrative offices will be closed Monday, February 21, and Tuesday, February 22.

9-1-1 and fire/medical emergency dispatch services will be maintained on Friday and Monday. Certain other designated
City operations and services will continue on Friday by alternating furlough hours for employees.

Tucson City Court will be closed on Friday, February 18, and Monday, February 21. Its website at
www.tucsonaz.gov/courts can be accessed for information including verifying a court date and making a payment online.

The Tucson Convention Center Administration and Ticket offices will be open on Friday, but will be closed on Monday,
February 21.

All Tucson Water offices will be closed. Phone representatives will not be available on these two days. However, account
information and payment options are available 24 hours by calling 791-3242 and selecting Option 1. Account information
or payment options are also available through the internet at www.tucsonaz.gov/water. Emergencies that are not related to
billing issues may be reported by calling 791-4133.

Tucson Water and the Tucson Department of Transportation will have standby crews available on Friday and Monday to
respond to emergency situations as needed.

Environmental Services will not be affected for the furlough day; however, all collections beginning Monday, February
21, will be delayed by one day. Los Reales Landfill will remain open both Friday, February 18, and Monday, February 21.
The Household Hazardous Waste Facility is not affected by the furlough day.

All City Council Offices, except for Ward 5, will be closed on Friday, February 18. All City Council Offices will be
closed on Monday, February 21, for the President’s Day Holiday.

The City has scheduled nine unpaid furlough days in Fiscal Year 2010-2011 when City offices will be closed for regular
business. This applies to all employees except commissioned Tucson Police and commissioned Tucson Fire employees,
and designated City Departments which will continue service by using alternate furlough schedules.
