Daniel Calveti dynamic minister of worship and is one of the leading exponents of
the psalmist and God's word in Puerto Rico. "The Grace of God is the only thing that
led me to achieve what I have," says Daniel who admits he still lives by His grace,
because an important part of his testimony is that God raised him from death at six
months old, after suffering meningitis.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela on November 29, 1977, and the young age of five he
started to sing and preach with their parents. At age 12 he moved to Houston,
Texas with his parents and siblings. At 17 he moved with his family to Puerto Rico,
and entered the Baptist College of Caguas to complete their high school. This
school, which served as spiritual leader, was awarded a scholarship. Later, he
entered Sacred Heart University where he founded the Christian Youth Committee
(CJC).
Daniel and his family, consisting of his beloved wife, Shari, who represents for him
half the purpose that God has given him, Isaac Daniel, her first child, Nathan
Gabriel, the youngest, lived in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Daniel and Shari are active
leaders in the Christian Center Church Fruit of the Vine in Caguas, Puerto Rico,
minding their parents John and Angelica Calveti, who instructed the young musician
in the love of Jesus.
Daniel started writing songs to God as a result of prayer and fellowship time spent
with God. "These are personal experiences," explains Daniel, "just come to my mind
in time I'm alone with Him in prayer," and these songs have transcended borders
touching hearts of people around the world, helping them to deepen their
relationship with God. Daniel thinks it is important to focus on work in the Christian
character, and believes that the most profound of human beings are only done in
private with the presence of God.
His debut album titled "Only your Grace," held the top sales in Christian bookstores
in Puerto Rico. The most recognized in this production was "The Last Word", "Jesus,
make my character", "Only your grace" and "Holy Spirit," among others. These
songs have been a blessing and impact everywhere and presentation where he
ministered.
Currently, Daniel is part Calveti Canzion Group, founded and chaired by Marcos
Witt. Daniel was brought to share times of Praise, Worship and the Word of God in
different parts of the world: USA, Caribbean, Central America, South America and
Europe. After a successful career in both the Christian music scene as in the secular
environment with the theme "The Last Word", is back with a new musical project.
"Live for You" is the title of the latest album from Daniel Calveti. This production
release, broke sales records in the first two hours. Their first single "La Niña de tus
Ojos", took first place in the stations of Puerto Rico and the U.S.. It was also stressed
in the second position on the Billboard Latino.
The vision of this project is to present a "model devotional" both personal and
congregational, which highlights three important steps that should not miss time
with God. The first stage is a time of "celebration and gratitude to God for what He
has done and will. The second stage is a time where all the lyrics of the songs are
focused on "the need for us to minister to God." The third stage is the most
important but often forgotten in the congregations and personal devotions. This is
where all the lyrics of the songs are addressed to "minister to the heart of God,"
meaning that he pays adoration for who He is. It is in this part of the devotional
where he devotes full attention and passion, knowing that "it is not us but Him."
A Carved In Stone is credited with sympathy and humility, virtues that have opened
doors and led to the recognition worshiper to interact with all audiences. Daniel
acknowledges that only the grace of God has allowed to achieve his greatest
dream: to minister the Father's heart, driving people to the presence of God.
