Prepare Now with No-Cost Training
‘The Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Networks no cost, hands-on Environmental Safety and
Remediation Training Program is now available, with a new class starting February 28, 2011
Eligible participants can develop skills and knowledge by preparing for career opportunities in the
Environmental Science and Green Industries. Program includes certifications for Hazardous Waste Worker
Protection and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER 40); 30 Hours of Occupational Health and Safety
Administration Training (OSHA 30), CPRIFirst Aid, Asbestos Abatement, Lead Abatement; and Mold and
Moisture Control, Individuals wal also enhance their industry skils, know.edge and certifications; to assist in
the job search effort, participate in life skill, resume writing and interview techniques workshops, and receive
physical fitness and nutrition instruction Successful candidates will receive job placement assistance,
Eligible participants must be between the ages of 18 ~ 30, have a valid California drivers license (or the
abilty to obtain one), and must have reliable transportation. Priority will be given to these who live in areas
