Recipe: Chicken in Tomato Marsala Sauce


Yield: 4 Servings

AMT UNIT INGREDIENTS


1 lb. boneless chicken cutlets
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/4 cup Marsala wine
4 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
16 oz. pasta

PROCEDURES
Rinse chicken and pat dry.
In bowl, mix together oregano, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper.
Sprinkle mixture over chicken.
Heat skillet over medium heat about 1 minute and spray with cooking spray.
Saute chicken about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and wine.
Stir in mushrooms.
Simmer about 10-12 minutes or until done.
Serve with pasta.
