Secondly, I would like to express mysympathies for all the interesting, weird andgross things you must receive in the returnschutes.Great service, one of the best libraries I havebelonged.I find the staff always willing and able to help withany problems.Been here 10 mins and had about 4 staff smileand say Hi. What great people work here!!I held off getting a library card because I thoughtit would be a long process requiring forms to fillout etc. I came in today and finally got a librarycard. Thank you for how quick easy & convenientit was. Well done.Thanks to everyone for sharing their experienceof the library.

Enjoy the ‘log out’ facility but hope it does notresult in a depletion of staff( who are alwayshelpful)Thank you for your feedback.The Library does not intend to reduce staffingdue to self-service loans. If the need for staff toassist customers at the desk reduces, teammembers will be able to have more time toassist customers on the floor and take up othercustomer service tasks to further enhance theLibrary experience.In the quiet study area at the back of the librarynear the toilets there is a table and 3 chairs, likea lounge area. A confidential meeting took placethere, it was very loud and in depth about sexualabuse, it was very distracting. We were sitting atthe table doing our homework and being veryquiet and could not concentrate.At the back of the library the ‘quiet area’ are 3chairs and a table in the corner, a meeting tookplace, it was reasonably loud, could not study. Thank you for your feedback. If this was tohappen again, please speak with one of thestaff members who would be able to help andsuggested that a room be used for confidentialconversations.The Wii is so busy this holidays! You really needa booking system so that we can be sure to get aturn.Good suggestion! We have instigated a manualbooking system for the Wii. Please ask at thedesk.

What a great new policy that you can change Wiigames for us! I was finding that some of themwere to hard for my young children to thanksheaps!Thank you for your kind wordsA catalogue computer over by the non-fictionside would be greatThank you for your feedback. We are currentlyinvestigating how we can connect a catalogueto the library system on the non-fiction side ofthe library. Unfortunately, there is a shortage ofdata connection point which makes the locationof a catalogue difficult.Repeat request – Please add space atphotocopiers to put important papers to bephotocopied plus the pages already photocopiedas it was before photocopiers were moved topresent location. Frankston has a very largepopulation of elderly people who also use ourwonderful library but cannot bend to put paperonto floor and constantly bend and stand straightnumerous times as photocopying progresses (hipand back pain at times can pinch sciatica nerve!Atrocious pain must freeze in ½ bent position) – please dear management of library nave somethoughtfulness, understanding. Thank you inadvance for some shelf at photocopier levelheight soon; also thank you for all the treasuresour library holdsThank you for your feedback, we have placed asmall standing-height table against thephotocopiers as a temporary solution and willendeavor to create a more permanent solutionwhen the budget becomes available.The free activities library activities are great. Wedid the Ben 10 and island fun ones and the kidshad a great time.Staff do a great job running these activities.Fantastic, children really enjoyed the activities.Library summer activities program for childrenare so good every year. I enjoy a lot and mychildren and I wanted it to be continued.1-2 weeks before the school holidays, I make abeeline to the library to find out the activities. Thekids love it and come home with books to readand most importantly of all it keeps me sane(especially in the long summer holidays) Withoutthe holiday programs I do not know what I woulddo – the free activities are brilliant.Manga Art Session - Fantastic, Inspiring,presenter was good, easy to understand andfollow.The Summer Reading club was good, picking upthe sticks was hard because there were so manypeople. The balloon game was my favorite game.We appreciate the effort involved in the summerreading club. Thanks.We are glad to receive your comments andfeedback regarding the school holidayprograms. It is great to know that the sessionsare enriching experiences for your children. We look forward to seeing you all in the libraryagain soon.

I came to the library today whilst my car wasbeing serviced and I was so impressed with thefriendly helpful staff. Congratulations on a greatteam and fabulous atmosphere. I live inCockatoo and am jealous we don’t have anythinglike this in the hillsAlways good and helpful service.Thank you for all your kind comments andappreciation of our service and staff. We aim toprovide a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Itis always great to hear from our satisfiedcustomers.The library is not a crèche, I object to childrenrunning around screaming. I have one hour afortnight with the council but I could not hearmyself think. I like children but screaming,running children whom the library staff will notgive a check to is not on. I approach a staffmember and was told not to be so mean, it is apublic space.Thank you for your feedback. We welcome allmembers of the community to the library. Wehave separated the children’s area from thecomputers to minimize the level of noise. Everysecond Tuesday we provide TinyTots storytimeto our youngest members for one hour andduring that time a certain level of noise may beunavoidable. Some customers find it helpful touse headphones while working at the computersto help reduce any noise in the library.With libraries, I have always expected to have afew more services available. Telephones – underthe porch area, with paper, writing ledge, out ofweather much as possible. Post office boxes – red and yellow, would be great and so handy.Thank you for your feedback.Hi, I love the fact that the library has a largerange of DVDs!! It’s the best thing, consideringnormal rentals from places such as Blockbustersetc. can be very pricey and at times charge waytoo much if you are perhaps late! Anyhow: Iwould love to suggest a magnificent DVDcollection I would very much like you to considergetting in… Sometime soon? Everybody fromages 14-25 love these guys – it’s called “Skins”and is very popular. Please get it in. Thanks.Thank you for your suggestion. The library hasSkins, series 1, 2 and 3. You can reserve acopy of the DVDs either online through ourwebpage or with the assistance of one of ourlibrarians.My comment is about the new (ish) taps in thewomen’s toilets – presumably the sensor tapsare to save water! But the “set” temperature istoo hot – unnecessarily so – not only is ituncomfortable but must use more power, and isno good for drinking or refilling a water bottle – can we have cold or at least tepid water please?Thanks for you feedback. We will investigateand see what solutions are available.If you want me to feel better about coming to thislibrary, then get rid of the so called toxic airfreshener in the toilets – it’s obviously bad foryour health and it makes my clothing stink for 1hour. Something needs to be done about thepiercing noise coming form the toilets. It hasbeen going on for far too long. It drives me madand it’s bad for your hearing.Library for books and movies is excellent BUT Ineeded to use the ladies _ unfortunately unableto due to the most massive intense noise.Thanks for your feedback about the toilets in theLibrary. We have notified our maintenancesupplier who is currently investigating the causeof the noise.
