Cato Zahl Pedersen

During his visit to the College and Haugland
Rehabilitation Centre Cato Zahl Pedersen finished
his talks in the auditorium with a riddle. What is the
difference between “Impossible” and “I’m possible”?
Using experiences from his own life, Cato gave an
example of how your focus in life can make a huge
difference. He shared stories from the sick bed –
having lost both arms in an accident as a teenager
– and from his expeditions to the South Pole and
Mount Everest. And then he had to venture into the
unexpected– as our philosophy students invited
him to an early breakfast dialogue. Cato was game
– and added it to his already busy program before
addressing patients and staff at the Rehabilitation
Centre.
And what is the difference between Impossible and
I’m possible? Just an apostrophe
... and a state of mind.
