ok so im 14 yrs old and a couple guys came ove rlike 2 days ago and idk if i got it from the one i made out with or the other one i kissed when we played spin the bottle-but.....i have one forming on my bottom lip and my mom doesnt know how to get rid of them! and hes coming over thursday to my makeout party i need it gone!!!

hi my name is laura and im 12 and in 7th grade. i just went to hawwie and got sunburn and dident drink enough water. so now im home and i have cold sores all over my lips. i get sorse many times a year because its just somthing thats in my family. i dont want to go to school tommrow becasue every one will make fun of me so i need to no how to get rid of my cold sores today. please help meee!!!!! i already missed school to day wich is monday. and in the past iv missed a week. helpppp! love, laura

hi my name is rachel m 13 and in the 8th grade and i went to hershey park resently and i got a bad sunburn and i got a bad reaction from the sunburn i now got 3 coldsores 1 on my bottom lip and 2 on my top lip my top lip is swollen and i dont want to go to school tomorrow with my lip like this could someone please e-mail me and tell me how to get rid of this my parents wont buy my the book so i need to know how to get rid of this quick please e-mail me at horsespirit187@hotmail.co m i check my e-mail every day so someone out there that is reading this please e-mail me and tell me how to get rid of this!!!!!!

Well thanks Youngone_24young34. its been two weeks and its almost completely unnoticable. I went to the doctors and she prescribed me valtrex. Its working pretty good. She also told me that next time I feel like i'm going to get one use abreva immemdiantly. The fastest way to cure them would be to NOT TOUCH THEM! Do not rip them, poke them, or try to take it off. It scars and makes it grow back bigger. I know how much it sucks to get them, it really hurts, it made me cry. But just work with them the best you can and it should all work out for you in the end:)

Well i get them too.. and im 16yrs old in the 10th grade and i hate going in front of people with them on my face i already missed 5 days of school because of it.It can be very uncomfortable with them its alright though..
But to aswer everyones question.."How can i get rid of them,"...."Is there a cure for cold sores or herpes type(1) or (2)"...to all these questions "NO" there not a cure for it its a virus your body has and you can not get rid of it..i know it sucks but. try your best not to stress..if it comes try your best to treat it well you can also use a medicine like "Carmax".." ;Aberva"..which works REALLY well. its exspensive but the stuff works gets rid of it with in a day of sleep. if not, the nxt day..thats about it.

I need the fastest cure to get rid of a cold sore. I'm in 9th grade and i can't go to school with these on my face without people "coughing" herpes, std, hiv as I walk into a room. I've missed 2 days of school for it already. I need a cure please. Anybody have good remedies?

im really not happy with getting colsores i get them in the same place im only 12 and when i finished school on wednesday i woke up on thursday and it was there i try 2 stay happy n im going out places buyin treats 4 myself and that makes me better but it goes shortly but i want them gone for good .. HELP ME!!! love 12 year old jade
