Section 1 – Crusader Extreme

If you are new to Crusader, we recommend playing either the Crusader or Warchest trails before
attempting the Crusader Extreme trail. The Crusader Extreme trail has been created for veterans
of our Stronghold titles. Gird your loins and let battle commence!

Stronghold Crusader Extreme features 2 versions of Stronghold Crusader: Stronghold Crusader

Deluxe and Stronghold Crusader Extreme.

Stronghold Crusader Deluxe was previously only released in the US. It features all the content
from the original Stronghold Crusader but also adds new opponents to battle and the Warchest
trail.

Stronghold Crusader Extreme is a brand new version of Stronghold Crusader featuring new
extreme features, such as the outposts and super attacks, which can be used in multiplayer and
skirmish modes. There are also new opponents to battle and the Extreme trail.

Stronghold Crusader/Stronghold Crusader Extreme Multiplayer

If your computer is connected to a router/firewall you will need to forward the following
Microsoft DirectPlay Firewall Ports to your computer in order to play Stronghold Crusader or
Stronghold Crusader Extreme multiplayer.

Windows Firewall

1. Open Control Panel > Windows Firewall

2. Select the Exceptions tab
3. If Stronghold Crusader and Stronghold Crusader Extreme are not in the list click Add
Program.
4. Select Stronghold Crusader and click OK
5. Repeat the process for Stronghold Crusader Extreme
6. Click OK to close the Window Firewall panel

Section 4 – GameSpy Arcade & Windows Vista

To play multiplayer via Gamespy Arcade on Windows Vista, Windows Vista Service Pack 1 must
be installed.

Section 5 – Additional Features

Radar Map

While in-game pressing ALT-R changes the radar map to show the enemies all in one colour and
the player and allies in another colour.

Extreme Powers Around Lord

Within Extreme Multiplayer Play Options, you can active ‘Extreme Powers Around Lord‘.  This
option enables the player to spawn troops using the Tactical Aid Bar within the radius of the lord
rather than just within the radius of your Keep.

Partie 1 – Crusader Extreme

Stronghold Crusader Extreme propose deux versions de Stronghold Crusader : Stronghold

Crusader Deluxe et Stronghold Crusader Extreme.

Stronghold Crusader Deluxe n'était sorti qu'aux Etats-Unis. Il propose tout le contenu du jeu
Stronghold Crusader original, mais ajoute aussi de nouveaux adversaires à affronter et la Série
d'escarmouches 2.

Stronghold Crusader Extreme est une toute nouvelle version de Stronghold Crusader, proposant

Pare-feu Windows

1. Allez dans Panneau de configuration > Pare-feu Windows

2. Cliquez sur l'onglet Exceptions
3. Si Stronghold Crusader et Stronghold Crusader Extreme n'apparaissent pas dans la liste,
cliquez sur Ajouter un programme
4. Sélectionnez Stronghold Crusader puis cliquez sur OK
5. Répétez le processus pour Stronghold Crusader Extreme
6. Cliquez sur OK pour fermer la fenêtre Pare-feu Windows

Partie 4 – Gamespy Arcade & Windows Vista

Le Service Pack 1 Windows Vista est nécessaire si vous voulez jouer en Multijoueur via
Gamespy Arcade.

Mini-carte

En cours de partie, vous pouvez appuyer sur ALT-R pour afficher les ennemis d'une seule couleur
et les alliés d'une autre sur la mini-carte.

Pouvoirs tactiques autour du seigneur

Dans le menu des options multijoueur Extreme, vous pouvez activer l'option Pouvoirs tactiques
autour du seigneur. Cette option vous permet d'utiliser la barre d'Aide tactique pour faire
apparaître des unités autour de votre seigneur et non plus uniquement autour de votre donjon.

Wenn Sie Crusader zum ersten Mal spielen, sollten Sie mit den ersten Kreuzzügen beginnen,
bevor Sie sich an den Extrem-Kreuzzug heranwagen, der für echte Stronghold-Veteranen

Windows-Firewall

1. Systemsteuerung öffnen > Windows-Firewall

2. Gehen Sie auf die Registerkarte Ausnahmen
3. Sollten Stronghold Crusader und Stronghold Crusader Extreme sich nicht in der Liste
befinden, klicken Sie auf Programm hinzufügen.
4. Wählen Sie Select Stronghold Crusader und klicken Sie auf OK.
5. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang für Stronghold Crusader Extreme.
6. Klicken Sie auf OK, um das Bedienfeld Windows-Firewall zu schließen.

Sie benötigen das Windows Vista Service Pack 1, wenn Sie ein Mehrspieler-Spiel über Gamespy

Radar-Karte

Wenn Sie während des Spielens ALT-R drücken, zeigt die Radar-Karte alle Gegner in einer Farbe

Extreme Kräfte in der Nähe des Herrn

Sie können in den Spieloptionen des Extreme Mehrspieler-Modus die Funktion „Extreme Kräfte
in der Nähe des Herrn“ aktivieren. Der Spieler kann dann über die Taktische Hilfe Truppen
innerhalb des Radius des Herrn aufstellen, anstatt nur in eigener Reichweite.

Stronghold Crusader Extreme contiene due versioni di Stronghold Crusader: Stronghold

Crusader Deluxe e Stronghold Crusader Extreme.

Stronghold Crusader Deluxe venne inizialmente distribuito solo negli Stati Uniti. Contiene tutte

 Durante una partita, premi ALT+R per fare in modo che sulla mappa i nemici e gli alleati siano
identificati da due colori distinti.

Poteri Extreme attorno al Lord

Nelle opzioni di gioco della modalità multigiocatore Extreme, puoi attivare la funzione "Poteri
Extreme attorno al Lord". Questa funzione ti permette di piazzare delle truppe usando la barra di
aiuto tattico entro il raggio d'azione del Lord anziché entro quello della rocca.

Firewall de Windows

Mapa del radar

Si durante la partida pulsas ALT-R, el mapa del radar cambia para mostrar a todos los enemigos
de un color, y al jugador y los aliados de otro.

Poderes extremos en torno al Señor

Dentro de las opciones de juego en modo Extreme multijugador, puedes activar ‘Poderes
extremos en torno al Señor‘. Esta opción permite al jugador regenerar tropas usando la barra de
ayuda táctica dentro del radio del Señor, en vez de limitarse al radio de tu torre del homenaje.
