Although I am a socialist by choice, I feel Modi's experiment is still a good idea to try. If it does not work, it will be rejected by the masses. He keeps getting because he kept delivering. Haven't we given the left a lot of chances in W. Bengal despite not delivering?

About fake encounters, when you can not control bad people by law, this is the only weapon against them. Such encounters are need of the time. Go and see in Bihar, you can't go out alone even in day time. In Gujarat, people can wander till late night without fear.
You don't know any thing about Gujarat. I am very much proud of being a gujarati, being an Indian. And I am very Happy at my home. You should live in Gujarat to get real idea about what Gujart is. Gujarat is the most secure place in the entire India, in fact, in the entire world. Don't judge Gujart by some stories made in News paper.
Gujarat is having the highest rate of industrial growth in India. The Christian missionaries are involving themselves in proselytisation/conversion under the guise of education and treatment. I work in Tribal villages I have seen it with my own eyes.The Fake encounters though legally and morally wrong are committed by dozens all over the country and may be internationally too. I do not condone the aftermath of Godhara. In most of the hindu-muslim riots in India it has been the law enforcers who have taken the initiative of assaulting muslims.In UP under the Chief Minister ship of VP Singh during congress regime it were the police men who assaulted the muslims in retaliation.The reason can be understood by some one who has lived in a pre dominantly muslim area alone and not arm chair journalists.No I am not a RSS member. I am an industrialist with no political leanings.I do have substantial first hand experience of ground realities because of my forays in tribal and alien regions (courtsey the NGO I am managing).
