Comment:

General: Well done getting all this finished, clear brand across magazine.

Cover: I like masthead, I shouldn’t but I do, other fonts really don’t gel together though, one on
left hand side ruins the entire thing, more exciting text required to grab our attention.
Coverlines too uniform- be a little more creative. Colours work.

Contents: Weakest element, doesn’t quite work, neither one thing or the other, think about
more columns and adding additional subtext to create a more professional feel. Whole thing
needs to be livelier. Fonts again are an issue too weak, try experimenting with colour. More
pictures are needed, more artists.

DPS: Again not quite there, Right hand side image is strong but font weak, perhaps shorten grab
line to ‘aint no such thing as cant’, proof read for errors, vary font size, break text up with grab
lines, add BOW to page to enhance brand, column depth a bit wonky, rework CD cover, find
better way to end interview.
