He has heen a blue collar worker, Supervisor, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Planner, Plant Personnel Director, Administrator of Salaried Personnel as well as Manager of Divisional Education and Training. In more senior positions he was Divisional Director of Labour Relations as well as Plant manager. Mr. Strong is currently President of WES Consulting Inc® (1993), providing services in Labour Relations, Contract Negotiations, Advocacy Representation and Contingency Planning primarily in the Health Care Field as well as a variety of manufacturing and service organizations. He also provides Operational and Financial Business Consulting for many medium and large organizations. Mr. Strang owns and operates the Ye Olde Walkerville Bed & Breakfast where he has won many awards for the Heritage building as well as numerous quality and service awards.
