 A PRAYER OF LOVE

Today, I will love the ambitious for they can

inspire me! I will love the failures for they can
teach me. I will love the kings for they are but
human; I will love the meek for they are divine. I
will love the rich for they are yet lonely; I will
love the young for the faith they hold; I will love
the beautiful for their eyes of sadness; I will love
the ugly for their souls of peace.

I will greet this day with love in my heart.

A soft little voice echoed through the hills and valleys. “Teach
me love, O Lord”

The wind blew back. The heavens opened up. Nature spoke
but silently. “Ask, Ye four questions about Love and Thy will
answer those for you”

“Is real love personal or impersonal in nature, O Lord?”

We all love you in your divine form but why do we find it so

difficult to love every other fellow human being?

We know for certain that every being is a child of God, yet

what stops us from loving every individual?

Why are we not able to transform our love from the formless to
the one in form and structure?
And thus spake the Lord:

Love is impersonal and that is the way it ought to be.

When you bring love to the personal level, you degrade love
and your own being in the process. Your love is then based on
the quality of past experiences you had with the individual.
Does it make real sense to mix love with experiences?

Experiences are deceptive. They are subject to change based

on the quality of your future experience. A life changing event
like a major accident, death of a loved one could radically alter
the mindset of an individual. The person’s future experiences
and attitude towards the world might undergo a complete sea
change as a result. Does it still make sense to mix love with
experiences?

Love is eternal, experiences are subject to change. Try not to

mix both of them.

Aren’t jealousy, hatred, and selfishness born out of

experiences? Why hold on to experiences then?
You might ask, how do we let go the element of experience in
true love? Is it possible to love people whom you hate? And the
Answer is YES.

Love the formless in every human being. The way to do so is to

love the formless in you first. If you can visualize an aura of a
formless structure around you, you can picture it in every
other human being too.

“And what is the formless?” asked the little voice.

The formless is the observer in you and not the experiencer.

The observer in you only sees, it does not judge. The
experiencer in you only judges. Your mind is the experiencer;
your soul and heart is the observer.

The formless is nothing but observing the events as it unfolds

without blaming the event or the persons involved in the
event. The formless is not bound by emotions; it is bound by
the language of love.

Have I ever judged and commented about your life so far?

Jesus, Krishna and Prophet Mohammed were called God
because they only observed and never judged. That is the
reason you worship them daily. Do you think you would still
worship them if they come down and start judging you?
Understand this truth, O children of the world and your life
will be transformed. I(God) am the observer and love is the
expression of an observer. Both love and God are present
within you.

When a man lives with God (nay the observer), his voice shall
be as sweet as the murmur of the brook and the rustle of the
corn.

“Do you think, O Lord, it is really possible for a human being

to play the role of an observer in real life?” queried the gentle
creature.

“Why not? If you know how to play the Game of Love, you will
find it very easy to enact this role” said the Lord.

The Game of Love is very simple. There are three easy steps
which will help you win the game of Love. First, visualize
yourself having two hats. One, of an Observer and the other of
an Experiencer. Second, always make sure you wear the cap
of an observer before you proceed to act. Base your decisions
on the love for the being, seeing him/her as a child of God
without judging the person based on one’s past experiences.
Third, proceed to wear the cap of the experiencer above that of
the observer. Your action and decision would then be definitely
in harmony with nature, with God.

Once you have donned the hat of an Observer every action of

yours as an Experiencer would always be balanced and
correct. Practice being an observer in life first and then an
experiencer. Watch how your life gets quickly transformed.

“That was brilliant! I’ve one final question to you, O Lord. Can
love really rule the world? ” asked the human form.

Who else can? Answer me these five questions, and you will be
convinced of the same,” said the Lord.

What is that one sweet little word which every human being
longs for?

What is that one economy every individual in the world

dreams of?

What is that one character, which humbles even the mighty

Ego?
What is that one emotion which can turn an enemy into a
friend?

What is that one language that people do not speak; yet they
enjoy it the most?

“It is a four-letter word called Love,” replied the human form.

“Love is all that you need, my son. Every other aspect of your
life will grow in abundance once you play the game of Love,”
said the Lord.

“Pass on to me the secrets of practicing true Love, O Lord. I

am convinced of the unlimited and mystic power of Love.”

“Thou Art, Eleven Dimensions of Love. Put each of them into

practice and the world will be yours, my dear,” said the
heavenly voice.
 DIMENSION No 1

Born to Love

You are a special person born with a secret mission in this

planet earth. Try to figure out the reason for your existence. If
you are unable to do so, try looking into the mirror and ask
the same.

Looking into the mirror say “ I love me” five times a day. If
that causes you problems, say that ten times a day.

If you like your own personality, you will adore every other one
in the world. So take care of yourself first, start loving yourself
as you are and not as the world wants you to be.

Once you start loving yourself, you will find more time to love
people close to you. You will have only your own body, mind
and soul to love, and not the external objects, everyday events,
and human flesh to drown yourself into. Simply sitting on the
floor will give you more joy than being interested in the
coverage of events across the globe. Think it over.
We start with the basic assumption that we are incomplete,
lacking in something, and this forms the entry point for the
external world to dominate and control us. You have paid a
very high price for that assumption. Starting today, drop that
assumption.

If you were gifted with two lives, you may spend the first one
going after all the material comforts in the world and may not
mind sacrificing the next one to accommodate the silent
desires of your heart. If you had only one life though, what
would be your strategy?

Make money the first half of your life and do what you love the
rest of your life. If that does not work out, love for the whole of
your life.

If you are given a choice between love and money, choose the
latter.

The faster you become rich the better you understand the real
need for true love.
When you were a child, you went to school. When you grew up
you pursued your higher education, got a job, married and
had children. You were always in a hurry to move one step
ahead. You never figured out what you really wanted, nor did
the Lord give you any chance to do so. Reflect.

You are born to love. Every other aspect of your life is a myth.
Love is the only reality.

Philosophy of Love

When did you first experience Love?

Mothers were the first to teach you love but you were too
young to understand it. The moment you could make some
sense of it, the Lord introduced puberty. Flash back.

The Lord gives you two chances to understand love. First,

when you choose your life partner, and the second when you
become a parent. Those who fail to understand on both these
occasions eventually understand love at the time of their
death. Fast forward.

The journey from the mind to the heart is the toughest, it is

said. But nobody questions how we reached the mind in the
first place. Pose this question to the Lord today.
Love becomes poor when you put conditions onto it. Drop all
of them.

The Lord has enough stock of love. If you return home empty
handed it is your mistake, not His.

If you look closely, everything that you asked for was half-
hearted. You wanted to become rich and creative but you also
wanted to retain your poor character. Starting today, drop the
begging bowls of security and wear the confidence of love in
your dreams.

All one needs is human love and affection, but we end up

loving material objects, events, and human bodies. We forget
the fact that we set out into this external world to pamper our
heart and not our body, to seek a soul mate and not a flesh
mate.
Love is the tender milk that fills an adult’s mind. He stops
crying and cribbing from that position; in fact, that is all he
needs. When he does not get Love, he tries to look for it in his
job and relationships, and then gets frustrated.

Teach your children the art of loving.

There is no greater philosophy in the world than love. Preach

and practice it all day.

Attitude of Love

The first thought that crosses your mind in the morning is the
last thought that you end your day with. So start your day
with a beautiful mind.

Stick a picture of the rising sun in your bedroom . Let this be

the first object you gaze your eyes upon.

It is very easy to drive hatred out of your life. Start loving one
person every day and increase the number to two from the
second month.

You hear yourself saying so many times, “ This guy does not
deserve to be loved.” The reality is love is to be given to people
who are lost and who act in a reckless manner.
People who are arrogant and violent in life are people who
badly need love. The others can wait but these people cannot.
Let the love in you flow freely.

Love everyone when they least deserve it because that's when

they really need it.

Do not wait for the right occasion to show your appreciation

and gratitude to others. Do it at every instance, every moment
you get a chance to.

You do not become poor by parting with love. So why bother

when the opposite person does not reciprocate your goodwill.
Even love unreturned has its rainbow.

If you are a very egoistic person you might feel love is

deceiving you and making you lose your self-esteem. During
such moments step aside for a while and focus on how you got
started very early on in your life. Notice how as a child you
played in the arms of Love before the cryptic Ego snatched you
away from the tender heart. Reflect.
They say it takes only 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown, so
keep smiling.

Eat the best food you love, wear the best suits and dresses you
adore, drive the most beautiful car you dream of. Once you
have done all this, switch your focus from the material objects
to the human ones. Love is very simple you see. We miss the
final leap.

Visualize the light of the Lord in every single expression of

love. The attitude of love is the fastest and easiest way of
reaching God and finding true happiness.

Love Begins at Home

If love flows in every household the world will be a better place

to live in. All the miseries and tragedies you see around is a
direct reflection of the hatred that people carry outside their
house.

If you look into your daily routine, love does not figure in any
of your schedules. It is always work, work and some limited
entertainment with your family or close friends at the end of
the week. Budget some time for love.

We take our loved ones for a vacation, buy them gifts, and
genuinely care for them. But how much time do we spend with
them each day?
Your mother worked 12 hours a day, but she never forgot to
love and take care of you. What stops you from doing the same
to your children and your loved ones?

A better world of relationships would prevail if all working

parents take time out from their busy schedule for their dear
children. Love begins at home.

Love in Relationships

If your partner has the characteristics of selfishness, anger,

and jealousy that you want him/her to do away with, do not
ridicule your spouse every moment. Place that enormous
weight on your own shoulders, embrace your mate, and allow
a major portion of your love to enter into your companion’s
dark areas. Pure Love can destroy ages of frustration in
seconds. All you need to do is to believe in its power and work
towards a better relationship.

If one of the partners understands love, no relationship in this

world will ever break. Guaranteed.

Kiss your partner on your forehead to experience true love.

South-west corner of your house represents marriage and the

color is pink. Place your family photo and fresh flowers in that
area.
Hang a picture of flying birds in the entrance of your bedroom.

Sex is the best bet to redeem love. Have sex only when you are
in a cheerful and happy mood.

Love comes with a price when you try to seek it outside of you,
in external events and immoral associations. All broken
relationships are a result of this fatal error. Do not commit
this mistake.

You can always say that you have only one life and you
deserve a better partner than your current one, but you
should also be aware that marriages were made in heaven and
divorces existed only in the earth.

Work your way towards a better relationship. Your partner has

come into your life for a special purpose. The universe has
played its role in connecting you to your mate. Try to figure
out the creative intelligence of the universe in doing so.
Even the most horrifying relationships have a divine light at
the end of the dark tunnel. So don’t despair. No one returns
home empty handed.

The Lord takes care of those who are not fortunate enough to
be loved by their partner. Why worry then?

Listen to me, my child “Your current partner isn’t all that bad,
and the new partner you have in your mind will over a period
of time fall into the category of your current partner. Do not
try to improve your life for some time, try to improve your
partner’s and you will find miracles happening every day in
your house.”

Be hard on your dreams, soft on your partner.

When your relationship goes sour, try to apply The Three Step
Power Pause formula:

a) First, break focus with your problem. Imagine and think

about all the good things which have happened in your
life.
b) Second, feel the way you would feel if your problems
were solved.
c) Third, breathe a quiet, heartfelt “ Thank You “ to the
universe, to the Higher Power that guides all your
footsteps.

Never criticize your partner even in your mind.

Use the power of the subconscious mind to visualize a healthy

relationship with your spouse. Practice creative visualization
every morning and before going to bed.

Never go to bed without making up with your partner, however

bad the fight might be.

Kiss and hug your child the moment the little one gets up. If
you are not so lucky, do the same with your partner.
Starting today play a new game with your partner. Every time
that either of you frown or hate each other, the partner who
frowned will take his/her father-in-law/mother-in-law for
dinner.

Love is the seed which blossoms the flower of every

relationship.

Love and Anger

Every human being is beautiful; it is the anger inside which

makes them look ugly. Look how fresh and elegant you were in
your childhood photos.

Pull out the best photo of your childhood memories and place
it at a prominent position in your house.

Let us make a deal. Every time that you are angry call out for
the Lord. You will invariably end up calling the Lord very
frequently

Angry minds cannot love, just as loving minds cannot get

angry.
You can live in a paradise of love if you stop holding on to love.
Let the love in you flow freely.

Anger can never be suppressed, nor can it ever be forgotten;

but you can roll your tender hand over its heated surface, and
appeal to it to calm down. Done consistently over a period of
time, it gives way, and a wave of serenity flows from within.
Call this the lava of love. Once you taste this, life changes
forever.

Love is a stone’s throw away from anger; you only have to

change directions to experience it.

Anger is love in a violent form. It is a brilliant opportunity to

experience true love. Duck the heat waves and let it go by.
Could you ever visualize yourself eating poison and wanting
some other person to die? Well, that is what you do when you
get angry at someone.

Anger kills our own being, not the one to whom it is directed
at.

Anger is hot, while love is cool. Let the breeze of love in you
flow all day.

Drop the anger by the wayside.

 DIMENSION No 7

Love for the world

You do not have to be rich to love, rather you become rich by

spreading love. Love is a universal responsibility and not the
prerogative of a few.

We cannot think outside of ourself, but we want the Lord to

love us unconditionally. Just imagine how difficult it would be
for Him to take care of the 6.5 billion people who pray to Him
daily. His load will be lightened if you love a few of these
people.

You do not need to be the President of the country to take care

of the world. Consistently put aside five percent of your
income to be distributed to the poor and needy. Cut aside
twelve postdated checks at the start of the year.
The beggar on the pavement has lost all self-esteem. You pity
him and give him money. Who benefits? You or he?

The donor benefits more then the receipient. There is a

greater joy in giving. Experience it. Every time that you give,
you let go the control money exercises over you.

When you donate blood, fresh blood is recouped in your body

within 24 hours. When you love others, the joy is
instantaneous and multifold.

The world is your extended home. Do not neglect it. You have
as much role to play as the creator.

We cannot imagine a world without economy. It is time we

visualise the same about love too.

Love is contagious. Spread it.

Visiting cards carry your name and contact details. Guess
what it does not carry!

Make it a point to express your love in every place that you

visit, and to every person you meet.

If all actions spring from the heart, the Lord above would have
no option but to descend onto this planet earth. The future
humanity would then be made to believe that the Mother
Earth and not the blue heaven is His dwelling house.

Follow Love

Mountains and oceans do not have careers. Nor do the birds,

animals; flowers and wind speak of goals. Nature is beautiful,
as it grows at its own pace. Be a part of nature. Embrace the
creativity within.

Everything in nature is asymmetrical. So is love.

You might have traversed thousands of miles in your life. But

did you ever bother to make the crossover of one feet from the
mind to the heart?

Take the leap today. You will never ever repent this decision.
Miracles are nothing but the power of love and faith.
Confidence, success, and goals all look cheap in comparison
once you play the game of love.

Let’s get this right then. Love stems from your heart and
reasoning intelligence develops from your mind. Your choice at
the end of the day determines where you land up.

The combination of the finite mind and the love for the infinite
universe will help you traverse the road to heaven even as you
leave your imprints on this world of success.

Love in Action

Human beings can build and destroy and re-build again. They
have the capacity to be friends, fight with each other, and also
to patch up later. The wheel of life gets completed only with
the third action, of re-building or patching up again. Do not
leave the last leg incomplete.

All those people with whom you carry a grudge were not
waiting to pick up a fight with you; events made it happen.
These people might end up being your relative or your work
colleague, but it takes lot of guts to end up where you had first
started with them, maybe with a smile, with a hand-shake or
with a simple nod of your head.

One of my friends is hatred. But the other ninety-nine are

love.

Helplessness is one of the qualities you have to get used to. It

will help you wade through most of the problems you
encounter in life.
Everything that has gone wrong can be corrected; every
mistake that has happened can be rectified. All you need to do
is to take responsibility for the act done, shed a lot of ego, and
commit yourself for the best solution ahead. If necessary, you
have to forgive yourself and other people too. This is called
love in action.

It is not important that the person who blundered with the

relationship has to say apologize first and seek forgiveness. It
can be the other way around too. The person hurt can also
take the first step forward. That will glorify the person and
make them more powerful.

Mark this as the best solution for bitterness. Forgive people

without any strings attached. Follow this and the heavens will
bow before you.

Give one good reason why you cannot forgive any person.
Leave out the last meeting you had with him/her and include
the first meeting you enjoyed with the individual as a stranger.

When you forgive other people, the Lord forgives your mistakes
too. So work this piece of wisdom to your advantage.

Silence in Love

Eight thousand different languages are spoken around the

world. Guess which one is least spoken of , yet desired by one
and all.

Love speaks silently.

Why do animals understand love better than human beings?

Animals do not have the intelligence to devour their own

breed. They do not speak the language of love; they try their
best to express it.

Animals do not celebrate Mothers day/Fathers day. They

practice love silently all day.
Why do you think people go to churches, temples and
mosques? Not to find God, but to seek peace of mind.

Peace of mind exists where there is silence in the atmosphere

around; silence in the mind of the people. In all such places
love exists. Try to steal some moments of silence every day.

If you were told to describe love, which portrait would you

paint or refer to?

Hang that portrait in your living room.

 DIMENSION No 11

Love for Sale

If you need big gifts to come your way you need to let go of the
smaller ones. This will open you up for brighter things in life.

Holding on to petty issues and ordinary wants increases the

clutter around you. Letting them go will release the negative
energy out of your body and bring in the much-needed spark
in your life.

The ice is broken; winter turns into spring, and love blossoms
all over when you embrace people.

A tennis match starts with “ Love All” , moves to 15- Love, 30-
Love, 40- Love … Game. Life however begins and ends with
“Love All.” The former call is made by the chair umpire from
the earth, the latter by the Lord from the blue heavens.
Once you start loving people as they are, and see the formless
structure of the Lord in each one of them, your life will be
transformed. You will be surprised at the way Nature opens its
door of celestial wisdom and creativity to you. Life will be never
be the same for you. Each day would be enriching, rewarding,
and more powerful.

Love is the way of life. It is not a character you develop, it is a

stance, a belief in the goodness of the universe, a tide which
will help you cross the ocean of life.
