at 0830 hours IST and lay centred near lat. 14.0°N and long 82.0°E, about 230 km southeast of
Kavali, 270 km southsoutheast of Machilipatnam and 450 km southwest of Vishakhapatnima. It will
move northwestwards and cross south Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Ongole near
Kavali by today night. Widespread rain/thundershowers would occur over Orissa and coastal Andhra
Pradesh during next 48 hours and decrease over coastal Andhra Pradesh thereafter.

The depression over westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved northward and lay centred at 1130 hours
IST of today, near lat. 14.5°N and long 82.0°E, about 200 km eastsoutheast of Kavali, 200 km
southeast of Machilipatnam and 400 km southsouthwest of Vishakhapatnam. It would move
northwestwards and cross south Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Ongole near Kavali by
today night/tomorrow morning. Widespread rain/thundershowers would occur over Orissa and coastal
Andhra Pradesh during next 48 hours and decrease over coastal Andhra Pradesh thereafter.

The depression over west central Bay of Bengal has moved north-westwards and lay centred at 1730
hours IST of today, near lat. 15.0°N and long 81.5°E, about 150 km eastsoutheast of Ongole, 150 km
southsoutheast of Machilipatnam and 350 km south-west Of Vishakhapatnam. It would move
northwestwards and cross south Andhra Pradesh coast between Ongole and Machilipatnam by
tomorrow morning. Widespread rain/thundershowers would occur over Orissa and coastal Andhra
Pradesh during next 48 hours and decrease over coastal Andhra Pradesh thereafter.
