ARCA will be hosting its third-annual conference in Amelia this summer to bring together
scholars, lecturers, professionals and members of the public interested in crimes against art.

The two-day event will examine recent events in art crime and cultural heritage protection.
ARCA will present its annual awards to Neil Brodie, Paolo Ferri, Lord Colin Renfrew and
John Henry Merryman, who will all be honored at the event.

ARCA welcomes proposals from any relevant field, including the humanities, law, policing,
security, art history, conservation, archaeology, or criminology. Please submit a title and a
concise abstract as well as a current Resume or CV by email to Fincham@artcrime.info by
April 15.

The conference will be held in the beautiful town of Amelia in the heart of Umbria. The
conference will feature the presentation of the annual ARCA Awards to honor outstanding
scholars and professionals dedicated to the protection and recovery of cultural heritage.
ARCA will sponsor a reception Friday July 8th before the conference and a dinner to honor
the ARCA award winners on Saturday evening. The conference aims to bring together in-
ternational scholars, police, and members of the art world to collaborate for the protection
