Research POSTER Presentation Guidelines

March 14-15, 2011

1. A day before the conference, kindly bring your tarpaulin entry with the
following dimensions:
4 feet (height) and 4 feet (width)

2. At the top of the poster please include the title, authors, and affiliations.

3. The content of the posters has to be readable from at least four feet; we
suggest using font size of at least 24.
- Use a different font size to distinguish main points from secondary
points
- Use a font that contrasts sharply with the background: light color
backgrounds with dark fonts are most easily read
- A poster formatted in columns rather than rows is easier to read
- Be sure to label all pictures, graphs and charts

4. Materials for poster presentation will be provided by the class.

5. Outline for poster presentation:

a. Logo of the school he/she is representing
b. Title of the study
c. Author/s name/s (family name first)
d. Introduction
e. Methodology

6. You are expected to be there during the poster exhibit to explain it or

answer any questions asked by the participants of the conference. The
poster exhibit is scheduled on the first day.

7. Posters will be rated randomly by the participants.

8. Poster winners will be announced during the closing program.
