STOP Israel’s

deportation of
400 children
Last Sunday, the film “Strangers No More”
won an Oscar for best short documentary.
The film focuses on a school in Israel for the
children of migrant workers and refugees
from 48 countries.

Tomorrow, four hundred children from the

migrant community featured in the film will
be deported from Tel Aviv, Israel.

From the founding of the State of Israel to the

present day displacement of indigenous Pal-
estinians from East Jerusalem, the Jordan
Valley and the Negev, this is yet another ex-
ample of Israel’s long history of displacing
children and families.

An Academy Award won’t keep these

children from being deported but,
together, we can.
Israel acts with the support of U.S.
taxpayers. It must stop.

We call on the US government and United

Nations to demand that Israel stop all
human rights violations and respect
international law – start now by stopping the
deportation proceedings.

Eighty percent of Palestinian families in the besieged Gaza Strip are refugees
from what is now southern Israel. Please join the Middle East Children's
Alliance in providing clean water and psychological support programs for tens
of thousands children in Gaza.
