OBJECTIVES

What the students do :
Ss try to making guesses about the picturesprovided by the teacher.

Aims:
- To motivate the students to get to the topic.- To give students a reason for speaking.- To draw students’ attention to the topic.
STEPS
1) Teacher sticks some countries’ pictures on the board.2) She asks if ss know which countries they are.3) She wants ss to guess them.4) She asks which one of them the ss want to travel.5) She collects their ideas: Why they prefer that country.6) She provides ss with some key words: to be abroad, to travel,sightseeing.7) She provides ss with some structure that they may need: would like,prefer.

What the students do :
Ss are asked to work with their partners andshare their ideas about their favorite countries supporting the reasons.

1) Teacher gives the instruction ‘ Now, I want you to turn to your partnerand share your ideas about which country would you like to travel andwhy? For example, I would like to travel U.S.A , for it is……’2) Ss talk about their ideas with their partners.( opinion gap).3) Teacher asks about what they talked.4) Ss share their ideas with the whole class.
POST SPEAKINGWhat the students do :
They are asked to find someone who has beenabroad before and learn their experiences. After collecting the experiencesthey come to the class and share them with the class. So, they will feelthat learning doesn’t take place just in the class.
