Item Accommodation Requirements for Island Innovation Trust

Decision taken THAT Officer’s be authorised to grant a five year lease of Nodehill
Middle School premises to the Island Innovation Trust.
Reasons for To assist in raising educational standards and to provide greater
decision opportunities for all young people on the Island.
Additional To ensure significant and appropriate accommodation is provided for
reasons sixth form students attending Medina College and Carisbrooke
College

To align with the Island Corporate Plan i.e.; to raise educational


standards and to provide greater opportunities for all young people on
the Island
Options Option B – To provide 11-19 education solely on the existing
considered and Carisbrooke High School and Medina High Schools premises
rejected respectively.

Option C – To dispose of the site.

Option D – To relocate the Lord Louis Library, Records Office and / or


other Council services to Nodehill Middle School premises.
