This act may be cited as the “Race to
the Top68
for Student Success Act.”
 69Section 2. Effective upon this act becoming a law, section701012.34, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:711012.34 Personnel evaluation Assessment procedures and72criteria.
 — 
 73(1) EVALUATION APPROVAL AND REPORTING.
 — 
 74(a) For the purpose of increasing student achievement by75improving the quality of instructional, administrative, and76supervisory services in the public schools of the state, the77district school superintendent shall establish procedures for78evaluating assessing the performance of duties and79responsibilities of all instructional, administrative, and80supervisory personnel employed by the school district. Each81school district shall annually report to the Department of82Education the evaluation results of its evaluation system for83instructional personnel and school administrators.84(b) The Department of Education must approve each85
district’s
evaluation systems for its instructional personnel86and school administrators instructional personnel assessment87
