requisite percentage on or before 30
September of the concerned academicyear and also passes in the CET.Generally, candidate passing all the papers that are generally covered over aperiod of minimum three years in one sitting are not considered eligible.Likewise, candidates possessing the qualifying degree although with requisitepercentage of marks, whose duration is less than three years, are notconsidered eligible.
Reservation of Seat:
The percentage of seat reserved for candidates belonging to backwardclasses only from Maharashtra State in all the Government Aided, Un-aidedInstitutions/Colleges and University Departments is as given below:
Scheduled caste and Scheduled caste convert to Buddhism 13.0%
Scheduled Tribes including those living outside specified areas 10.5%
Vimukta Jain (14 as specified)
Nomadic Tribes (NT1)(28 before 1990 as specified) 2.5%
Nomadic Tribes (NT2)(Dhangar as specified) 2.5%
Nomadic Tribes (NT3)(Vanjari as specified) 2.5%
Other Backward Class 19.0%Total 50.0%1. Candidate claiming to belong to categories mentioned against (e),(f) and(g) above will have to furnish certificate from appropriate authority that thecandidate’s parents do not belong to Creamy Layer as per the relevantorders of the Government.2. If any of the (a) to (g) categories mentioned above does not get therequired number of candidates for the percentage laid down in aUniversity area, the seats so remaining vacant shall be filled in fromamong the candidates of remaining reserved categories with reference tothe inter-se-merit of all candidates belonging to the reserved categoriesfrom the same University area. However, the total reservation shall notexceed 50%. After doing so the seats remaining vacant shall be filled inwith reference to inter-se-merit of all the candidates from the sameUniversity area.
The selection would be done as per the guidelines given by theDirector of Technical Education Maharashtra State time to time.
(III) Number of Lectures and Practical:
Lectures and Practical should be conducted as per the scheme of lecturesand practical indicated in the course structure.
(IV) Practical Training and Project Work:
At the end of the sixth semester of study, a student will be examined in thecourse” Project Work”.
