Count and Non-Count Nouns

Count Nouns – nouns that you can count ex: I have an apple.

its has singular and plural forms She has five apples.

Non-Count - nouns that you can’t count ex: There’s milk on my table.

its has singular form only

Any – use in negative statements for singular count and non-count nouns

ex: There aren’t any apples in the kitchen.

Determiners

Much/A little –for non-count nouns ex: How much milk do you want?

Just a little (milk).

Many/A few – for count nouns How many apples did you eat?

Just a few (apple).
