It is not quite finished yet, but in the meantime, if you are interested in learning more about the course, feel free to contact me on this site, or by emailing me at myklwilson@gmail.com. I will also be creating a website in the near future for the entire course called depressionperceptions.com.

ello and thank you for taking the time to read this document on depression, I truly do hope that youcan gain some new insight that can help you in your quest for more happiness.First of all I want to mention that just trying out some of these tips may not be enough to help youovercome depression. These tips may only help you temporarily (depending on your situation of course) feel better about yourself. For some people, their cause of depression is much more difficult todeal with than by just utilizing a few of the tips below, so such a person could need a combination of ideas and methods in addition to what is written below in order to help them overcome depression intheir life. So if you find that by just following the tips in this article is not enough to help you recoverfrom depression, then perhaps you should consider speaking with a counsellor or psychologist and/ortrying out my course called

by visitingthis website above.

Please remember, there are other ways of overcoming depression than those that are mentionedbelow, and if you wish to deal with yours badly enough, you will find the way!
Let's Get Started!
There is only one way that you can beat depression, and that is through taking action. You must startdoing whatever it is that you need to start doing TODAY! I say this because the longer that you delayimproving your mental health, the harder that it can be to overcome, and the better your chances are of losing more and more hope for a full recovery. I say this because there really is no better time than thepresent, and in all honesty your situation will not likely improve in the next month in order to make'getting started' easier for you anyways. I mean just look at where you were last month, is there anyimprovement from then? Take it from me, a person who suffered from severe depression for overfifteen years! I know what depression is all about.Getting started, or "your ability to take action" is based on your "desire." If you have no desire, thenyou won't take any action. If you don't take any action, you will not feel better about yourself. Sofinding your desire is crucial to getting started on the road to happiness. You don't have to make reallybig changes overnight, just start out slowly and with small steps, that way you are less likely to get evenmore discouraged if you fail at trying something. In fact realize this, you will likely suffer from morefailure on your way to recovery than you will success, but that is okay, because as you experiencefailure, and as long as you maintain the proper attitude towards failure, you are learning, and the morethat you learn, the wiser you become, which will go a long ways towards helping you to overcome

depression in your life. Any success is better than nothing at all, so look forward to your smallsuccesses, learn from your failures, forgive yourself and keep on moving in a forward direction myfriend!Remember, your attitude is the single biggest determining factor whether you will overcome yourdepression or not. Your attitude is based on your self talk, or the way that you choose to talk toyourself all day long, and what you choose to believe about yourself and your life based on that self talk. What other people say to you can also influence this belief that you form about yourself and yourcurrent depressed situation in life, so be aware of this, and realize that you can control what you chooseto believe and what you choose not to believe, no matter what ANYBODY tries to tell you, or no matterwhat thoughts come into your mind! This is an absolute truth. My course called

owever if you are not interested right now, then please feel free to gain from the following free advice that I have to offer, and good luck to you onyour road to happiness.

Below are 27 tips designed to help you get out of your depressed mood and onto bigger and betterthings like enjoying more life!1. Get out of the house!Go for a walk, a bike ride or a drive. Just get out of the environment that you spend the mosttime in when you are depressed. You don't have to talk to people if you don't want to, just getout of that environment. I think that you will find that within about an hour of doing this you willgenerally start to feel a little bit better (especially if you want to feel better). What I mean is,don't just get out of the house and wait for the change in how you feel to happen, seek out things, people, or places that induce a better state of mind for you, desire to have a better frame of mindand start acting in such a way. Be subtle about this, take small steps and do not try and go fromone extreme to another (ie: depressed to happy in 3.5 seconds), and don't worry if this takes youlonger than an hour either because it's okay. Once you start to notice this happening, don't gohome, keep on doing what you are doing and even more! Expand your horizons and you justmight start to feel happier. Be smart about it though. When I would force myself out of thehouse I would hop in my truck and then somehow get stuck in traffic, which would make meangrier and more depressed. So make sure that whatever you decide to do out of the house doesnot create more unhealthy emotions for you.Getting out of your house is important because it is likely the place where you spend most of yourtime feeling depressed. By getting out you are getting fresh air, you are moving your body andchanging your surroundings. This also helps you to get out of your mind - all of which are greathelpers in alleviating feelings of depression.2. Get a release. This is one way of relieving stress, tension and built up pressure or anger. This could beaccomplished by doing some strenuous exercising, taking up some new sports, or getting backinto your favorite sport(s) that you haven't participated in for awhile. Maybe you enjoy singing,so belt out some powerful tunes with all of your heart and soul like you are putting on a liveperformance in front of thousands of people. Find something that you enjoy doing where youneed to use lots of energy to do it, that is a great way to vent out your negativity.

Play around with this idea until you find something that works for you. Maybe you just need toverbalize out your thoughts with lots of passion and emotion.
H
it a punching bag, go for a hardrun or bike ride. Whatever you do, do something to release that built up tension inside of you.The best way that I can think of to get out of a state of emotion is to get emotional. Get feeling anemotion powerfully so that you can get your energy up, vent out some of that 'unwanted anger,'and start feeling some power, start feeling alive.3. Watch an inspiring or funny movie.Any kind of movie that invokes positive emotion in you is a great way to help you boost yourspirits and help you to feel better.4. Get proper amounts of rest.In Step #4:"Nutrition," I mention that only about 15% of people that are depressed sleep toomuch while the rest aren't getting enough sleep. So moderate how much you sleep if you aresleeping too much, and try and get more sleep if you are not sleeping enough. You should bespending roughly one-third of your life in bed, so it makes sense that your bedroom be a verycomfortable place for you to spend your nights. If getting enough sleep is difficult for you, thentry improving the quality of your bed, change your surroundings and eliminate unwanted noise (if possible). You can also speak with a doctor that specializes in helping people get better sleep aswell, or if you like you can just start out with this website from theNational Sleep Foundation.5. Pick up a hobby and do it.Put all of your heart, emotion and mind into it. Enjoy it and be passionate about it. Make a biddeal out of it and enjoy yourself. It doesn't matter what the hobby is, as long as you getsatisfaction and enjoyment out of it.
H
aving a hobby gets your mind off of yourself and ontosomething that you enjoy doing. This is important because scheduling in time for fun is just asimportant as spending time at work, with family and getting proper amounts of rest. Not surewhat to try out? Give thiswebsitea try! I talk more about hobbies in the document Step #8:"
H
obbies And Fun Times."6. Keep your mind off of yourself and how you feel. You can't maintain a state of depression if you are thinking about anything that is not related to oris a cause of your depression. You see it is your thoughts that keep you depressed, just like it isyour thoughts that keep you angry or happy or any other emotion/feeling that you areexperiencing. So, change what you think about because the more that you think about yourproblems, the bigger of a deal that they can become and the more power that you give to themover you. There is no way that you can win in a situation like this because you are only hurtingyourself and making your life feel more miserable!I do want to mention that simply ignoring your problems is only a temporary fix, and can onlytemporarily alleviate your feelings of depression. In order to truly be free of the grips of depression you need to deal with what is causing you to feel depressed in the first place. Thiscould be more than just ignoring something. I get into great detail about this in my course.7. Take care of some items on your "To Do List."It is a nice feeling when you accomplish a job that has been a thorn in your side. Even if you don'twant to do something on your list, just get up and start doing it anyways. You don't even need tofight your negative thinking, just let the thoughts pour out and keep on doing the task anywaysbecause you really can choose to remain unaffected by the thoughts that go through your mind
