a i n s: S u n Street Music
Cinqu by Elizabeth Akers Allen

Methought a sweet sound

Sun from the street uprose,—
Big hot    And as I pause, and strive
again to hear,
Shinning warming turning ‘St Patrick’s Day’
draws softly to its close,
Can’t see without it    And ‘Jordan’s’
waves flow sweetly to my
Eyes. ear,
What though from humble
source the chorus floats?
   Music is music, and I
Pass current with me, hear them listen still;
where I will, I have ‘an ear’, — ay,
A slight Italian boy, with jetty two! — Even jews-harp
Haiku: King Cobra hair
   Shading dark eyes, grinds out
notes

the melody,
Pulverized music! — In his garb
and air
Long, big and slippery body    I read of sunnier lands beyond
the sea,
Sound like air blowing with no legs And, dreaming, wander to a
fairer clime,
Poison snake King Cobra Recalled, too suddenly, by —
‘If you please, a dime!’

Teenage Princess by Joanna Fuchs The Street Poem
(Funny Poem)
I know how it is to need money-- My street,
As much as I can get;

Actually there are a few streets,
My teenager goes to the mall,
But always noisy,
And I go into debt.

Noisy of children or people playing sports,
Noisy of strange songs that hear from next town,
Most kids' first words are "Ma-ma," Noisy of people’s loud Shouting,
She said "Vi-sa" with a smile; And noisy of car horns.
She has a black belt in shopping,
And a package from every aisle!

When we two parted - a
poem by Lord Byron
(Nature Poem)
Peace Park Poem
When we two parted
In silence and tears,
Half broken-hearted,
To sever for years,
Pale grew thy cheek and
cold,
Colder thy kiss;
Peace Park Peace Park, Truly that hour foretold
Hi Peace Park Sorrow to this.
Can I see your Beautiful world? They name thee before me,
The dew of the morning A knell to mine ear;
I want relax with your world flower. Sank chill on my brow A shudder comes o'er me
It felt like the warning Why wert thou so dear?
Peace Park Peace Park Of what I feel now.
They know not I knew thee,
Thy vows are all broken,
Hi Peace Park And light is thy fame: Who knew thee too well:
Can I work in your world? I hear thy name spoken, Long, long shall I rue thee
Other Places are very noise And share in its shame. Too deeply to tell.
I want work in quiet place like you world. In secret we met
In silence I grieve
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
Good Luck After long years,
And How should I greet thee?
Happy life With silence and tears.
