Cornbread Recipe)
Ingredients:
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all‐purpose flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg – slightly beaten
¾ cup canola oil
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease an 8x8” pan.**
2. Mix all the dry ingredients together and softly stir in the liquids.
3. Bake for 30 minutes and let cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
**Alternatively, grease or line a cupcake tin and bake for 15‐20 minutes or until a
toothpick comes out clean.
