This week was very insightful and educational I must say I find it amazing how God gave Adam and
eve so many fruit bearing trees to eat from and only two that they were not allowed to and yet they still
gave in and ate from the tree that was forbidden. This is truly an example of everyday life as a human
being and Christian. Every day we all faced with decisions that could lead to negative or positive
reactions and as Christian it’s our responsibility to choose the right one. I know it is not always easy but
the rewards are amazing and we must keep our eye on our goal of meeting up with Christ in heaven. In
the next few paragraphs I am going to be discussing the creation of sin and how it can affect your death
The readings in Genesis 1-11 are very clear in that the fall of man was started in Genesis was because
God created man and called him Adam and a woman and called her Eve and told them what not to do
but man was tempted by evil and disobeyed Gods request. Eve decided to eat from a tree forbidden by
God that a serpent tempted Eve with and she in return tempted Adam who gave in and this is how sin
was started in mankind. This is supported in our everyday life we are faced by evil and the devil to do
things that we may know are wrong but we attempt to rationalize why we made the wrong choices.
From the day of Adam and Eve’s disobedience Mankind would be born into sin and the only exemptions
would be children.

Christianity in today’s world use’s this as a positive and spiritual backbone for why we need to have a
purpose driven life and live our day to day life as a Christian and walk along side God. In Genesis we also
read about how Cain killed his brother Abel out of anger. In these readings we learn about
consequences and taking accountability for our actions. Cain was sent to live his life as a wanderer and
that the ground would never produce vegetation for him again. This is a huge consequence and Cain
realizes what he did was so wrong but has no way to take back his brothers murder. His act of anger
was unjust and ungodly for as followers of Christ we must humble ourselves.
The accounts of the fall of man have been used correctly and foremost positively to influence
hundreds of generations and make better Christians out of mankind. Sin is nothing to take lightly and
we have proof of the consequences since the day of man. Adam and Eve were banned from the Garden
of Eden and Cain was sent to live life as a wanderer. This is pure evidence of how consequences play a
huge role in our life and evidence to reality if Christians do not stay on the road with God. The accounts
also prove God as higher authority and show us that discipline is needed in our daily lives. Everything we
do or for that matter everything we don’t do we will be held accountable on our day of judgment. As
human beings we are reminded daily of death and see many people who pass away without having God
in their hearts. This is sad and also good at the same times because if we realize that someone else
doesn’t have God In their hearts it may help us to connect with God on higher level and seek to know
As I attended church today and listened to the pastor give his sermon I had to laugh as the topic we
are covering in church is a walk with God and Creation which is our topics hear in class. I was listening
and something told me I should use this in my paper and so I am. My pastor said bless those who do not
seek refuge in our father. I have been thinking about this all morning and I must say I completely
understand that statement and it bothers me to know that people will die and they never truly knew our

father. I believe it’s our jobs as Christians to ensure this happens to less and less people and should start
a religious campaign to organize more groups and get the word out. As a young aspiring minister I will
be researching and working hard on developing a way to get the word out to more people with a cost
effective route weather its email, text or any other means necessary. This course is truly an eye opener
