– Cedar youth and adults are cordiallyinvited to hear Deacon Lynne Hunter (Harvest OPC) give astirring audio/video presentation on OPC Missions in Haiti duringyouth group tonight. Our time will begin with authentic HaitianFood – Chicken & Rice, Plantain, and Black Beans. Afterwards,Lynne will challenge and inspire us to pray for and prepare toserve Missionaries Ben and Heather Hopp through a CedarMission Trip to Haiti in 2012. You won’t want to miss it.
OPC Missions Conference
- Our terrific annual Missions'Conference will be March 25 & 26 at Harvest OPC. We are veryhappy to welcome Ben Westerveld from Quebec as our mainspeaker. On Friday’s “Teen Night,” 7-12
th
graders will enjoypizza at Zion Christian School Gymnasium at 6:30 PM, along withpresentations by Ben Westerveld and Vanessa Rubingh,concluding with volleyball. Cost: $2/person. On Saturdaymorning, come enjoy breakfast at 8:45 PM and then presentationsby Ben Westerveld at 9:15 AM, along with a panel including Ben,Vanessa Rubingh (Uruguay), Don McCrory (China), and HeidiCarson (China). The conference ends with lunch at 12:20. Note:There is no cost for the conference or meals but a free-willdonation jar will be available. Here is an excitingshort-term mission opportunity to serve in the CarpathianMountains of Ukraine for two weeks this summer.
