New this year, the Off Campus Advisory Council in collaboration with KUBoK

Neighborhood Watch, Kutztown University’s Recreational Services, and the Borough of

Kutztown, will be holding the 1st Annual 5K Race and Family Fun Walk in honor of
Kyle Quinn, for whom KUBoK was created. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 1st,
2011 at 10am starting within the 200 Block of Main Street. KUBoK is a coalition of
permanent community residents, students, faculty and staff from Kutztown University who work
closely with the Kutztown Borough Police Department and collectively volunteer their time and
talent to proactively create a safer community and promote awareness.

Registration is currently taking place and will last through April 15th. To secure a
commemorative event t-shirt, you must register by April 15th. The participation fee for the race
is $25 and $15 for the Family Fun Walk. All proceeds go toward KUBoK in support of this
fundraising event. On-site registration and check-in will begin at 9am. Prizes will be awarded to
the winners of each age group and all participants will be automatically entered into a drawing
that will take place at the 4th annual CommUnity Block Party starting at 12noon that afternoon.

If you are not interested in running or walking in this event, you can still be a supporter
of the cause. We are accepting sponsorships of $25, $50, and $100. If you elect to donate $50 or
more to the cause, your logo will appear on the back of the commemorative event t-shirt.
