1. For this quick method I amusing the distressed wall canvasmade in a previous tutorial.You can find it here at,http://andyskinnerorg.blogspot.com2. Water down a little AmericanaButtermilk acrylic paint. Inormally mix at 50/50.Apply this mix quickly over thesurface of your piece.3. With a Mini Mister filled withIsoclene or rubbing alcohol,spray the surface of the wetpaint.4. If you have your paint at theright consistency it shoulddisperse immediately as pictured.You will notice I have brush lineson this piece which I don’t mindbut to avoid this happening use alarge flat brush to apply the paint.
 
5. When the paint is nearly drygently dab the surface with somepaper towel.6. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 5.7. It should now look a little likethis.8. Load a blending tool with ink of your choice, here I am using abrilliance pad.
