DIMENSIONAL LEADERSHIP PLAN &PERSONAL BELIEFS I believe that:
The purpose of schools is a shared responsibility of commitment to students and their success. There should beunrelenting focus on learning everything about what we doas educators. There are 3 R’s in my mind that determineagreed upon values which lead to independent decision-making---Roles, Rules, & Relationships. Decisions should reflect well with no detail too small to consider. Daily and in different ways I ask myself if or how my decision helpsstudents realize any success that they did not have the daybefore. It is all about students and preparing them for their futures.
The ability of students to learn is centered on developing aclimate of encouragement . The contributions and partnerships between families, staff, & community arecrucial in cultivating human resources that minimizefailure. Pushing the boundaries of what is already knownand taking calculated risks may increase the capacity of good decision making for students’ knowledge base.
The factors that determine the opportunity to learn for students include first and foremost providing a safelearning environment. Beyond that, educators should become leaders/inventors for their students to address thesocial, emotional, intellectual, & physical developments of the young adolescent.
