Logline:

The fastidious bowtie has had enough of his current owner, and has decided to go in search of a
new home closer to perfection.

Premise:

A young man is thrown out onto the busy streets after drinking too much at a posh do, what will
become of his bowtie...
Character Biography:

Fastidious Bowtie is a 2 year old ready-tied bowtie with a Velcro fastening, making it your
average bowtie. Although its not the most pristine bowtie, it is very fastidious and will not accept
anything but the best from its owner and its surroundings.

Treatment:

A man of high class has bought some new attire to attend a posh do with his business clientele
and other respected people. After having a bit to much to drink, he gets pushed out the back door
by a bouncer. As he lays in the alley for a while, his bowtie comes to life and breaks free from the
mans collar. The bowtie is quite fastidious, and after witnessing his owners conduct he decides
the man is not the kind of person he wants to hang with. He dismounts the man and walks down
the street, using his Velcro fastenings as feet.

His stroll soon turns into a run and he only stops when a tuxedo catches his eye. The tuxedo is in
a shop window, which the bowtie now cannot take his attention off of. as he gazes into the
window, he gets scooped up by a man passing by. This man is a middle aged, middle class white
man holding a can of lager. He has a large gut, a beer belly and other attributes that do not match
those which you would find in a person likely to wear a bowtie. The bowtie is instantly
dissatisfied with the man and its not long before he rips himself free and runs off.

The bowtie comes back to the shop where he saw the tuxedo. He comes to a decision that the
tuxedo is where he wants to be and nothing is better then it, he will not accept anything or anyone
else over this tuxedo and will do what ever it takes to get to it. He then bursts through the door
window and nests himself on the collar of the tuxedo. He fastens his Velcro straps around the
neck of the shirt and sits proudly on the tux which he now considers his new, perfect home.
