Time: The future in an alternate universeThe Place: Atlanta, GAState Senator Patrick Stanton, Majority leader of the New Republic Party, wakes to find acontract on his life pinned to his door. Quickly calling his staff, he discovers not only is thecontract legal, it had been issued by James McCarthy, Minority leader of the Real Party in aneffort to force Stanton to the table on the issue of banning womb tank technology. Even worse,McCarthy hired the Bloodmen assassin guild to enforce the contract. The Bloodmen are the best.Even rumor of them enforcing a contract has brought world leaders to the bargaining table.Under the guidance Guildmaster Camara Keita, the Bloodmen have become a political force tobe reckoned with. But Patrick would not be humbled by “a bunch of legal murderers”. Despite the advice of his advisors, he continues to defy his opponent’s call to negotiate, making many of his backersnervous. A dead Patrick serves no purpose, so they step in to save him from himself. They hirea renegade guild; a guild not licensed to carry out assassinations. This is the guild of thecommon man, the shadow killers that know no honor or rules. Know as the Tiger guild, its leaderseeks higher status and agrees to carry out the job of not only protecting Patrick, but alsoeliminating the Bloodmen guild completely. Their price? The recognition as a legitimate guildand the right to follow Stanton's path, wherever it may lead. And so our story begins…
Scene 1:
Atlanta, GA: Fade into the nighttime skyline as seen from above. Slowly zoom to thebuildings, working through to the roads as they leave the city, through the suburbs, farther out tothe exclusive estates of the wealthy. Focus on a single neighborhood, then a single mansionsurrounded by 200 acres of woods and pastures. Focus to the area outside that gate. Feet intruding into the picture as they land on the grass.
Narration
Atlanta, a city that never sleeps. Buildings once alive with commerce stand silent as itsoccupants flee to the safety of the suburbs. For some, safety is more expensive. And despite thecost, it is never certain.
The parachutist quickly folds away his glider and hides it. He looks at the gate thenwalks away from it in measured steps. Turning to face it, he runs and jumps, clearing the gateand landing in a crouch. He moves toward the house, dodging the security patrolling thegrounds until he reaches the expansive lawn. He waits, and then takes off in a full sprint toward the mansion. Halfway across he falls to the ground, his green cat suit blending perfectly with thesurrounding Bermuda grass. Security appears, the ATV passing slowly but never noticing theslightly higher lump of ground.

The man rises and sprints to the house. In one fluid motion, he pulls out the contract and dagger and stabs it into place on the door. Hearing a sound, he crouches and turns. A securityguard appears and the man subdues him quickly, injecting him with drugs to keep him under. He puts the man in a bag, pushes it into a corner hidden by shrubs and activates an imager. Theimager reflects the environment around it, making the bag disappear. The man removes his cat suit and dons the uniform of the grounds security. Glancing about to make sure of hissurroundings, he raises the cell phone to his lips.
The Man
14, this is unit 2. There’s been a breach of security at the main house. Respondimmediately!
The entire estate is flooded with light. The man slips away into the shadows. Lightsappear in the mansion. Senator Patrick Stanton emerges from his bedroom, tying the belt of hishousecoat around his plumb waist. Jeremy, his butler, meets him in the hallway.
Stanton
Jeremy, what the hell is going on?
Jeremy
Security breach. Sir, I don’t think it is wise for you to be about right now.
Stanton
This is my house, Jer. I’m not letting some petty thief send me shaking and hiding in mybedroom.
Stanton scurries down the stairs. He’s 55, a tall, overweight man with remnants of hisathlete past in his shoulders. He strides across the marble foyer, Jeremy trotting behind. Thefront door swings open before he can reach it, the security sergeant standing before him. In hishands are the contract and the dagger. Behind the sergeant stand other security guards.
Sergeant
Sir…Stanton (
snatching the contract from the sergeant’s hand
)That son of a bitch! That goddamn son of a bitch! He put a fucking contract out on me!
Stanton shoves the paper into Jeremy’s chest. Jeremy reads over the contract and hisjaw drops.
Jeremy
It gets worse, sir. This is a Bloodmen contract.
Stanton looks up, a hint of fear on his face.

Stanton
Bloodmen? That’s impossible. That bastard couldn’t afford the Bloodmen… unless he had partybacking.
He snatches the contract from Jeremy and studies it closely.
Stanton
How could he? (Stanton looks at the security sergeant) What the hell are you looking at? Getthe hell out of here and search the grounds!
The sergeant salutes and the guards disperse. Our man mounts an ATV and rides off asif to search the grounds. He brings his hand held to his mouth.
The Man
Contract delivered successfully. No fatalities.
Voice
Excellent. Come on in.
The Man
I’m on my way.
The man drives the ATV toward the gate as the security forces swarm the grounds, sirensblasting and searchlights sweeping the ground.
Scene 2:
Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The view shifts to an overhead shot of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It’s night, and the street teems with young, beautiful paulistanos. A group of limos pull up to the latest hot nightclub disgorging a group of well dressed men wearing shades and smiles. They enter theclub followed by a throng of young ladies, paid entertainment. The view swings to a pair of prefect brown legs extending from under a tight mini-skirt. It pulls back on a well toned sister entering a nearby luxury hotel from the employees’ entrance. She’s met by the night housekeeping manager, a tall thin man with leering eyes.

Valdir
Christina, you’re late again.
Christina
At least I’m here.
Valdir
Don’t get smart with me. I’ll fire your black ass and send you back to Bahia.
