I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR tips on: Easy ways to improve your Computer's performance. I am going to do it as soon as i Post this. I have an Inspiron 1520 with 100GB with 40 GB free space. How much of an upgrade to I need on my hard drivce to upgrade to Windows Ultimate and how much do U think it wil cost. Basically i am wrioting books on Science 7 math, and another on Religion. would I need the upgrade at all. Thanks a lot. By the way I see some vulgar language from some of the contributors, should U black ball them,. I almost got out of this page as soon as I read it, but someone has to boot out repugnance especially, if he is soliciting free help & advise. This abuse to "All": Why should people tolerate such ill brought up, debased and demented characters. They could very well go to the gutter and stay there, why brng their vomit in the public. And why should SCRIBD TOLERATE SUCH DEGRADATION OF THEIR SITE.
I highly recommend buying a new computer. No offense, but it sounds like your current computer is a piece of junk (256 colors? 1995 ended 12 years ago, man!). For the price it would take to upgrade your computer to modern standards (if that's even possible) you could have bought a brand new one, and then some.
Is upgrading my computer going to be an advantage or a disadvantage? Should I upgrade my system or purchase a new one? My software takes forever to load. I can't always display my photos. I an na updateed version of Office, but space is limited. Have to wait 20 minutes for image when sent to me. I get problem displaying image-error. I try to change my video setting to a higher resolution, but limited to 256 colors. What are my options?
