Taking
the
Earth for Foundation
This book is designed for the reader who wants to study thedeeper significant principles of the ritual magic of the HermeticOrder of the Golden Dawn, possibly the most famous such orderthe world has known. The authors take you through the steps ofwaiting in the antechamber as you anticipate going through theZelator Grade ceremony. The first steps into the grade areshown, as well as how and why the ritualistic process unfolds. The authors share some first-hand experiences of those whohave undergone this ritual and tell you what to expect, givingyou a study guideline
to
go with
it.
Until recently, books about the Golden Dawn were not writ-ten by initiates of any legitimate temple (with the exception ofIsrael Regardie). Pat and Chris Zalewski take you deep into thehidden mysteries of the Golden Dawn from the viewpoint of oneof its highest initiates. For those who want to study ritual magicin
a
group, this
book
takes you through the processes with
firm
guidelines of the dos and don'ts of Hermetic ritual. It was writ-ten to help those in existing Golden Dawn temples explain pre-viously unpublished teachings of the Order. For individuals whowish to utilize magic in the privacy of their own homes, thisbook is a must in the sense that
it
teaches you about magic, including the traps and shortcuts that can be applied on a solobasis.Nothing has been published on the Zelator ritual before now,and this unique book reveals the whole concept of Golden Dawnsymbols and prompts that the candidate must go throughbefore admission to the Grade of Zelator. The Zelator Grade isone where the postulant has
his
aura magnetically earthed andwherein the physical body is revitalized. In the previous book inthis series, the reader was shown the whole process of first ini-tiation. Now things are taken a step further as the candidateembraces the forces of the Earth element and
its
effects.
