Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, by A Square (Edwin A. Abbott). An early treatment of higher dimensions in science fiction, the biting satire addresses some of the worst aspects of the author's society, some of which may be far too familiar well over a century later. This edition, based on the revised edition of 1884, has been specially created for use on e-readers and includes the original illustrations by the author.
