 ABSTRACT

Development in technology has been rapid in recent years which make the
systems very efficient, reliable and cheaper tool. At this point we have tried to make
the project of Tours & Travels Management System.

This project, Tours & Travels Management System, manages for the entire
computer-based functionality that the traveling agency performs. It deals with lots
of work starting from the advance booking, current booking, update the records,
maintain staff and buses and many more. This would require only one administrator
and some employees who can do all the functions of traveling agency, as all tasks in
this system requires a single click of mouse or a single enter of keyboard.

This project provides some basic information to customers such as available

routes, special routes and seasonal routes details as well as bus or coach
information.

The entire outset the application requirements were studied and analysis and
design were carried out. The development platform and software tool were identify
as Visual Basic 6.0 (as a Front End) and MS- Access (as a Back End) database.
Using visual programming objects are manipulated directly and also due to the
features of fast and easy prototyping and GUI building Visual Basic 6.0 as used.

The project is quite user friendly and so no special academic or technical

experience and/or background are required for end-user. Any person with some
knowledge of computer can easily operate it.

Having all the functions computer-based saves a lot of time for both, customer
and the employee and also provide accurate results.
