A 90 kg climber hangs from the end of a nylon
rope. The rope stretches by 25 cm under this
load. If the natural length of the rope under no
load is 30 m and it has a diameter of 1 cm
show that Young’s modulus for nylon is 1.3 
109 N/m2.

NB. Remember to use consistent units.
