Buttery Lemon Snow Bars

2 c. sugar, divided2-2/3 c. plus 1/4 c. all-purpose our,divided1 c. butter, sotened4 eggs, beaten6 T. lemon juiceGarnish: powdered sugar
Stir 1/2 cup sugar and 2-2/3 cups four together. Cut in butter; mix until crumbly.Pat into the bottom o a greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees or 15 to20 minutes; remove rom oven. In a separate bowl, mix together eggs, lemon juiceand remaining sugar and four, blending well. Pour over baked crust and returnto oven or an additional 20 minutes. Cool. While still slightly warm, dust withpowdered sugar. Makes about 1-1/2 dozen.
