United Community Bank, as one of the participants in this scam, utilized these fraudulent investments to falsely inflate its assets and stock.
These type of scams were directly "structured" by the highest officers of UCB.

UCB has a track record of accusing its victims of the very crimes that the bank itself is perpetrating, as further evidenced by Jimmy Tallents accusations against the investors of Village of Penland.
