S. 3005 is a bill introduced in the US Senate on May 12, 2008 by Senator Menendez (on his behalf and that of Senators Kennedy, Durbin, Akaka, and Lieberman) in response to the case of Hui-Lui-Ng, requiring the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish procedures for the timely and effective delivery of medical and mental health care to all immigration detainees in custody, and for other purposes.
