    Activists today explained why they're backing Anna Hazare's demand that an

    anti-corruption law cannot be drafted by the government alone. Mr Hazare, a


    veteran social activist, has begun an indefinite hunger fast in Delhi, to pressure
    the government into moving faster on the Jan Lokpal Bill. A group of eminent
    personalities supporting Mr Hazare say that civil society representatives must be
    part of the committee that works on the Bill.
