Maybe its hard to understand the safety he gave me, but | have always felt ifit wasn't for him, my dad would have definetly killed us. He didn't JUST come there when my dad was drunk and beating on us and threatening to kill us with his guns. (which was every weekend) He CARED. He came by, he'd see me walking home from school and ALWAYS made sure | had someone with me. He'd drive past my house to see if my dads car was there and if it was, he made me go to aneighbors. The very last night | saw my dad he called my mom and told her he had been taping our phone calls and found out she was having an affair with a pedophile who was on his way to prison. He warned her NOT to come home or bring me home or he'd kill us. We waited until we thought he left for Wisconsin and came home. He was hiding. When my mom's filthy boyfriend pulled his car in the drive, he got as far as the foyer before my dad was breaking down the door with his hunting gear and threatening to kill us all. Ron ran out the back, and my dad chased him witha gun and started shooting at him, I called the police, Drew was there. While he was trying to get order in the room my dad came in the back and tried to stab me. IF IT WASN'T FOR DREW HE COULD HAVE KILLED ME!!! was only 13, can you imagine the HORROR??????727???, My mom ACTUALLY ran off with that filthy pig, and Drew found me @ neighbor (far away) to go to, and stayed in touch with me for years. He counseled me, he would check on my safety, he was the man my dad should have been, | DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING ANYBODY IS MAKING UP ABOUT Hil My heart aches to think | can't help him, the way he helped me. He was always available to talk, and he STILL kept an eye on me as we only move 2 blocks away from my dad.
