I order an assassination attempt on one of Pythiums mages, unfortunately Uriel has already assigned
them bodyguards and the attempt fails.

I gather another 9 fire gems from my dominion.

These humanbred are given and commander and ordered to probe the province of thesorceress.
Meanwhile my forces in the south conquer the last neutral province I have access to.
My prophet Global Warming equips the armour of souls and brazen vessel, together with his
empowerment in fire, it allows him to forge a soul contract. I move my first witch into the capital so
as to equip the soul contract as soon as it is completed.

In the meantime using the hammer, I personally forge a crystal shield, while Stine forges a weightless
tower shield and Bet-El forges a second skull mentor.

The second circles of both conjuration and blood are completed by my researchers, I direct them
work on the third circle of thaumaturgy next.

This month I gather just 2 gems of water.

The probe on the sorceress does not go very well, although my humanbred do cause decent
casualties before they are forced to flee.

The demonbred Cremnian has located a place where thw wall between worlds is thin in Acyrna, and
has befriended the Sidhe in this place. While these Sidhe are willing to serve and worship me, I have
neither the income nor access to an appropriate commander to leverage any advantage from them.
I order the southern army to redeploy to the western front against Pythium, but it will take them
many months to do so.Iin the meantime my prophet forges a second soul contract while Bet-El uses
the hammer to forge a third skull mentor.

The alliance with Sephorin of Pangaea is concluded, we will stand together with the elder people of
the forest until all the human scum has been driven screaming from the world.

The third circle of thaumaturgy is complete and I order my researchers to proceed straight to the
fourth in order to gain access to the Prison of Fire spell.
Sephorin uses Call of the Wild on a lightly protected rear area within Pythiums domain, while Bet-El
forges his fourth skull mentor using the hammer. With two soul contracts equipped on two witches I
am now gaining the service of two devils every month.

My scouts in the south have located the dominion of Eriu, and the southern war rages on, with
Sephorin making steady gains against Zorglub in Vanheim.

I finially have enough spare gold this turn to order the construction of a lab and temple in the
province with the blood keep, which allows me to recruit a third mage each month when I can afford
to do so.

My researchers complete the fourth circle of thaumaturgy, and start work on the third circle of
conjuration, in order to allow the use of the pheonix power spell.

I gather another 5 water gems.

Forging is prioritised this month, Bet-El forges a horror helmet, Stine some Chainmail of
Displacement, Global Warming an Amulet of Antimagic and Sabrina, one of my witches uses the
hammer to forge Birch Boots.
A side benefit of the research that has been done in thaumaturgy is that it gives me the ability to
teleport, allowing me to quickly resume my search for magical sites in my southern provinces.

As the third circle of Conjuration is complete, my researchers efforts turn to Blood.

As I am still struggling for income, and after some negotiations, my ally Sephorin agrees to allow me
to add Dershid to my dominion. This is one of the provinces that Pangaea has captured from
Vanheim and, as it has a good income, it͛s addition would allow me to convert two lower income
provinces to full time blood hunting.

With the new magical capabilities available to them, I assign two of my Demonbred mages back to
the front with Pythium, while the army that has come all the way from the south moves into position
to attack through the northern mountain pass.

Meanwhile, my very first demonbred creation, Dalkiel, picked up a legendary reputation for
toughness during the expansion last year. I plan to take advantage of this by equipping him with the
magic items forged over the last few months, his orders are to lead a small but capable force and
deal with the sorceress once and for all.

The only forging this turn is Bet-El using the hammer to forge another skull mentor.

esearch into the third circle of blood completes and my researchers continue onto the fourth.
That increased province defence could be handy soon, plus 6 free water gems.

Dalkiel makes short work of the sorceress and finds something usefull.
Things however do not go well on the Pythium front. A fresh group of no less than ten hydras rips
through my province defence and catches up to the demonbred I had sent to reinforce the province,
ripping him apart into little pieces. My warriors are valiant in death though and manage to bring one
of the great beasts down.

ather than send my intact mobile army into the nightmare that is the hydrae however I press on
with the planned attack through the northern mountain pass.

In a bid to stop the assault of the hydrae I equip some of my demonbred with a handfull of fire gems
each and order them to try to intercept them and use the thaumaturgy spell rage to turn the great
beasts against one another.

The only forging this month is the creation of a third soul contract by Global Warming, as I expect I
will need the devils that they provide sooner rather than later.
