As per the Investment Agreement, and the Memorandum of Understanding between Oyu TolgoiLLC and Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Oyu Tolgoi training strategy onprofessional training and education, Oyu Tolgoi LLC has established a scholarship program toassist the education of Mongolian nationals. The Oyu Tolgoi Scholarship Program is designed tofinancially assist qualified applicants in obtaining degrees from accredited academic institutionsof higher learning in the fields of mining engineering, operations, science and technology,environment and earth sciences. Oyu Tolgoi LLC is offering scholarship opportunities to study atwell-known universities in USA, Canada and Australia.
OYU TOLGOI LLC IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE START OF THEAPPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE 2012 OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
The scholarships are awarded based on merit as measured by academic performance, leadershippotential, proactive community service record, and sound future vision including high interest inlong term employment in the growing mining sector in Mongolia.The overseas scholarship program will cover tuition fees, living expenses, airfare,healthinsurance, and visa and university admission fees. The scholarship program supports study inmost fields of mining engineering, operations, science and technology, environment and earthsciences including: mining engineering, operations, mineral processing, metallurgy,geology,mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, environmental policy,energy, IT management, and economics related to mining.

A recent GRE exam score.Applicants who meet the above-mentioned essential criteria are eligible to apply for the overseasscholarship program. English language training will be available to successful applicants toimprove their English language skills to meet the overseas universities¶ requirements.

Materials will be reviewed by the Oyu Tolgoi and Zorig Foundation scholarshipcommittee. Applicants will be assessed according to whether they satisfy the aboveeligibility criteria and conditions.Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interviewfor final selection.
