She’s gone

Gradually I built up my hopes

Sacrificing all I had
But- suddenly her attitude seemed to change
What could have happened?

In he came and out I went

Forgotten like the last meal
Antipathy did she display
Words spoken were with asperity

In a crotch of a tree I sat lonely

Venturing into the past (turning back the pages of time)
Those intimate messages you could never post were gone
My eyes were full with tears

In they came, hand in hand they walked into the moors

The place I treasured most
had been taken over

Gradually I forgot about her

But desperately I needed someone
A solitary life I lived for weeks
Man may resist everything with the exception of a beautiful lady
