commissionerandinadditionshallhavecompletedsixtysemesterhoursingraduatecoursesapprovedbythe

b.Atthetimeofhisappointmenteachshallhavecompletedthreeyearsofteachingexperiencesatisfactorytothecommissionerinpublicornon-publicschools.lSection80-3.10(b)(3)(i)oftheCommissioner'sregulationsfurtherspecifiesthenatureofthepreparationandexperiencethatacandidate.forcertificationmustpossess.AcandidatewhoappliesforcertificationonorafterSeptember2,2007mustmeetthefollowingrequirements:(a)Education.Thecandidateshallmeetthefollowingeducationrequirements:master'sorhigherdegreefromaregionallyaccreditedhighereducationinstitutionoranequivalentlyapprovedhighereducationinstitutionasdeterminedbythedepartment;and(2)either:(i)havesuccessfullycompletedaNewYorkstateprogramleadingtoaprofessionalcertificateasaschooldistrict·leaderintheeducationalleadershipserviceregisteredpursuanttosection52.21
