Example of a tessellation
 These are some examples of tessellations.
There can be 1shape or more.
Examples in nature
Definition
 A tessellation is when you take a shape
and repeat it many times without the
shapes overlapping. At the same time
the shape that you make is a 360
degree shape. NOT every shape can be
tessellated.

Game time
Instructions: First you do the tessellation
game and we will judge who makes the best
tessellation. We will pair people up in pairs of
two. If one person is from the extended math
group they have to do 5 five shape
tessellations. And if both are not in the
extended math group then they will do 5 two
shape tessellations. 2 extension group
people= Won’t happen
10 Minutes will be given for every group and
top 3 will be rewarded.
