ABOUT US
Barcelona based EVAPAT S.A. was founded in 1989 by a family run textiles
business that had been designing and producing its own fabrics since 1973.  Some
years later, it absorbed the assets and know-how of PEZ D’OR; a swimwear brand
that had been offering its clients avant-garde and exclusive swimwear since the
1920’s.  Producing and distributing up to a million swimsuits yearly throughout
the EU, it continues to be amongst the top swimwear brands in Europe. 

In 2008. sensing the need to fill a gap in the market for stylish swimwear designed
exclusively for pregnancy, the company announced the launch of its PEZ D’OR
label ‘maternity swimwear’ range in the US.  Says Chief Designer Montse Verdú
"We realised that there was so little choice available for expectant mothers looking
for garments designed to compliment their curves throughout their pregnancy.
Our range is chic yet practical, and with so many different styles and fabrics to
choose from, there is something for every mom-to-be.  Indeed, our garments are
so flattering that moms will want to continue wearing them even after their babies
are born".

With an important collection of leading edge knitting and cutting machinery,

EVAPAT is a pioneer in introducing the latest generation and state of the art
materials.  Its fabrics are designed, knitted and cut in-house and put through strict
quality controls and laboratory testing, guaranteeing that only the very highest
quality swimwear passes through its doors.  This, combined with exclusive designs
inspired by trips around the world in search of new ideas and techniques, makes
PEZ D’OR truly unique.
