RADIO TRANSMITTER

with the aid of an antenna, propagates an

electromagnetic signal such as radio, television, or
other telecommunications.
In radio electronics and broadcasting, a transmitter
usually has

A power supply,
A modulator,
An oscillator,
An amplifiers for audio frequency (AF)
and radio frequency (RF).
In broadcasting, and telecommunication, the part
which contains the oscillator and modulator is called
the exciter. Confusingly, the high-power amplifier
which the exciter then feeds into is often called the
"transmitter" by broadcast engineers.
Modulator
The modulator is the device which modulates the
signal information onto the carrier frequency, which is
then broadcast.
Oscillator
An electronic oscillator is an circuit that produces a
repetitive electronic signal, often sine wave .
Audio Amplifier
An audio amplifier is an electronic amplifier that
amplifies low-power audio signals (signals composed
primarily of frequencies between 20 hertz to 20,000
hertz, the human range of hearing) to a level suitable
for driving loudspeakers and is the final stage in a
typical audio playback chain.
Radio frequency
Radio frequency (RF) radiation is a subset
of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 100 km
to 1 mm, which is a frequency of 3 kHz to
300 GHz, respectively. This range of electromagnetic
radiation constitutes the radio spectrum and corresponds
to the frequency of alternating current electrical
signals used to produce and detect radio waves. RF can
refer to electromagnetic oscillations in either electrical
circuits or radiation through air and space. Like other
subsets of electromagnetic radiation, RF travels at
the speed of light.
F M Transmitter
In consumer electronics, a common device is a
Personal FM transmitter, a very low power transmitter
generally designed to take a simple audio source like
an iPod, CD player, etc. and transmit it a few feet to a
standard FM radio receiver.
