SMS Call Flow

A mobile sends a short message to the visiting MSC (the MSC handling the mobile’s calls). At the same time, it provides the address
of the SMS Center to which the message has to be directed, as well as the mobile number. The VLR contains the Global Title
Address of the SCP and the trigger information associated with the subscriber.

IDP

The VMSC sends an IDP to the SCP using it’s Global Title Address. The SCP checks the account status of the subscriber and then it
sends the Continue message to the SSP if the subscriber is having sufficient credit.
